How good is God, really?

He is the One who has never missed a moment you’ve lived.

He is the One who has bottled every tear you’ve ever cried.

He is the One who stands with you in the midst of the fire.

He is the One who leads you beside still waters.

He is the One who comforts you when you’re hurting.

He is the One who fights for you when you’re attacked.

He is One who wants to give you more than you could ask or imagine.

He is the One who makes your heart burn like fire when He speaks.

He is the One who disciplines you with kindness.

He is the One who created humor and has the best jokes if you listen for them.

He is the One who walks on water and walks through walls and says you can do it too.

He is the One who raises the dead, literally and metaphorically.

He is the One who has seen you at your worst and still loves you endlessly.

He is the One who picks up the pieces with you when disaster comes.

He is the One who leads you with perfect love.

He is the One who hears the cry of the orphan and provides for the widow.

He is the One who never stops giving good gifts to His children.

He is the One who shows you the way.

He is the One who releases truth and freedom over you to be utterly free.

He is the One who anoints you with joy and loves seeing your heart glad.

He is the One who heals you when you’re sick and binds your wounds if injured.

He is the One who speaks life over you and has a hope and a future for you.

He is the One who sticks closer than a brother and will never leave your side.

He is the One who commands angel armies yet whose voice is still and small.

He is the One who gives you peace that goes beyond what you can understand.

He is the One who chooses to be unassuming, walking among us incognito.

He is the One who isn’t afraid of your mess, your questions, or your running.

He is the One who will never stop loving you no matter what you say, do, or think.

He is the One who snuffs out your fears and pours gasoline on the fire of your dreams.

He is the One who diffuses your anger and gives you beauty for ashes.

He is the One who is always in a good mood.

He is the One who redeems every broken, hurting place in your life.

He is the One who shares His holiness with you and see’s you as utterly flawless.

He is the One who separates your sin as far as the east is from the west, if you believe.

He is the One who calls you His son and His daughter.

He is the One who doesn’t give His heart in pieces, He gives Himself fully, withholding nothing.

He is the One who breaks chains, preaches freedom, and releases prisoners.

He is the One who provides for your needs and feeds your belly.

He is the One who calms the storm and causes the birds to sing.

He is the One who knows the secret groanings in your soul and unspoken desires.

He is the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way.

He is the One who is faithful when you are faithless.

He is the One who created love, friendship, marriage and all beauty in relationship.

He is the One who loves you even when you believe you’re unloveable.

He is the One who died to prove how valuable you are to Him.

He is the One who built His beautiful Church which daily grows to look more like Him.

He is the perfect Father, the loyal Son, and the powerful Spirit existing as One.

He is utterly, completely, entirely God.

His nature is inexhaustible…His depths unknowable…

But He is good.

Yes, He is GOOD.
